The Hanoi Labor Market Report for July 2025 of the Hanoi Employment Service Center (Center) shows that in July 2025, about 30,000 workers in the city will need to find jobs.
Based on the survey and information collection of 2,857 job secher records of the Center, it shows that the desired salary of job seekers is mainly in the general segment. Workers expect a salary of 5 - 10 million VND/month to account for 86.68%; from 10 - 20 million VND/month to account for 12.27%, salary over 20 million VND/month to account for about 1%.
In terms of age, for the first time in many months, the group of young workers aged 25-34 has risen to become the largest job-seeking force, accounting for 45. 20% (an increase of 4.15% compared to June 2025).
This shows that this generation of workers is in the most active career transition period. On the contrary, the more experienced age group from 35-54 years old dropped to second place, accounting for 43.87%", said Mr. Vu Quang Thanh - Deputy Director of the Hanoi Employment Service Center.
The demand for job search of workers in July focused on the groups of workers who assembled and operated machinery and equipment (accounting for 32.0%); simple workers (accounting for 17.50%) and office assistants (accounting for 13.65%).
In terms of professional qualifications, although still accounting for the largest proportion, the group of "untrained" workers has decreased sharply to 35.12% (down 1.52% compared to the previous month); the group of "technical workers without degrees/certificates" increased to 30.46%.
