On May 11, the Binh Phuoc Provincial Federation of Labor launched Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Hygiene in 2025.
At the ceremony, the leader of the provincial Labor Union launched a month with the theme "Vietnamese workers pioneered the new era" and the month of action on occupational safety and health in 2025 with the theme "Strengthening assessment, identifying risks, risks and proactively implementing measures to ensure occupational safety and hygiene at the workplace".
The Labor Federation of Binh Phuoc Province said that the unit has directed the trade union levels to focus on implementing protection activities and caring for workers in the month of workers. Many activities are being implemented such as: Organizing dialogue to listen to the thoughts, aspirations and answers to the labor union's recommendations; organize activities to care for support and gratitude to union members; propaganda to raise awareness of union members; organize cultural and artistic activities for workers; honor workers with achievements in production;
On the occasion of Workers' Month, the Binh Phuoc Provincial Federation of Labor presented 1,000 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to 1,000 union members and workers in difficult circumstances; supported the repair and construction of 14 new "Union Shelters" worth 610 million VND for union members and workers with housing difficulties.
Binh Phuoc Trade Unions at all levels also accompanied, shared and presented 40 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to union members and workers who had work-related accidents and occupational diseases.
On this occasion, 14 outstanding individuals in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style were commended and received certificates of merit; 10 collectives and 11 individuals were commended by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement for good labor and building a strong trade union organization in 2024.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor commended and rewarded 15 grassroots unions and 15 individuals who are typical examples in emulation movements in the period of 2020-2025 and 33 typical grassroots unions in the emulation movement "Green - clean - beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene".
