The No. 1 working group led by Mr. Nguyen Chuong Phat - Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor presented support to build a "Union Shelter" house for the family of Ms. Hoang Thi Nhi - Luong Son Kindergarten.
The No. 2 working group led by Mr. Vu Cao Minh - Permanent Vice President of Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor presented support to build a "Union Shelter" house for the family of Ms. Duong Thi May - Phuc Khanh Primary School.
Ms. Hoang Thi Nhi and Ms. Duong Thi May have difficult housing circumstances. After implementing the guidance of the Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor on the program to support the construction of "Union Shelter" houses from the "Union Social Fund" of Lao Cai province, trade unions at all levels reviewed and carried out support procedures.

Ms. Nhi's family has 4 members, her husband does not have a regular job, and her 2 children are going to school. The whole family depends on Ms. Nhi's average salary of 4,625,000 VND. Due to the impact of storms and floods, the entire roof was blown off, the house was too crooked, the pillars were severely damaged, causing the entire house to be demolished. Currently, his family has to stay at his maternal grandparents' house.
The same goes for Ms. May's family, her husband is unemployed, has 2 children who are studying, and takes care of his elderly mother without a pension. While Ms. May's second child suffered from heart disease and severe depression, he was given long-term treatment at Hanoi Medical University Hospital. The whole family lives in a 4-room house with a expanded roof, which has deteriorated, with leaky and cracked walls due to the rain.
In response to the desire of the women and their families to have a solid house to raise their children and work with peace of mind, Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor supported the construction of a "Union Shelter" house for each household with 40 million VND from the "Union Social Fund".
With the support money and help from local authorities, agencies, units and relatives, the women's families have built a spacious and solid house.

Sharing the difficulties of Ms. Nhi and Ms. May's families, the leaders of Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor and the working group hope that they will continue to promote the spirit of overcoming difficulties, always strive and strive more in work and life.
Since the beginning of the year, Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor has awarded support to build "Union Shelter" houses to 41 union members in difficult circumstances with an amount of 1.8 billion VND.
This is an activity of profound humanitarian significance, demonstrating the practical concern and care of trade unions at all levels for the lives of workers. Especially union members with difficult housing circumstances, thereby helping them to improve their lives, work with peace of mind, and work and produce.
