People reported that PV Oil gas station near 271-273 Hoang Van Thai Street (now Hoa Khanh Ward) has not received a transfer for about a month now. People fill up gas here regularly but the gas station does not accept transfers, forcing them to withdraw cash to pay.
"The last time I poured gas was at 9:50 a.m. on July 13, this gas station still did not accept bank transfers" - people were upset.
Responding to the above content, the Department of Industry and Trade of Da Nang City said that the Department has received information from people about employees of Hoang Van Thai gas station (household number 271-273 Hoang Van Thai) under the Branch of PV Oil Joint Stock Company in Da Nang not accepting payment by bank transfer, people have to withdraw cash to pay when purchasing goods here.
The Department of Industry and Trade has issued Official Letter No. 242/SCT-QLTM dated July 22, 2025 to the Branch of PV Oil and Petroleum Joint Stock Company in Da Nang to report on the above incident.

According to Official Dispatch No. 258/CNDN-KDXD dated July 23, 2025 of the Branch of PV Oil Petroleum Joint Stock Company in Da Nang Central region, after receiving information from the Department of Industry and Trade, this unit went to the facility to confirm the incident, the citizen's reflection was true.
The sales staff here explained that they are old, the technology is not fast, and they are afraid of losing money, so they refuse to pay by bank transfer. The refusal to pay by bank transfer violates the unit's sales policy.

The stores have been fully equipped with facilities to serve customers who have not used cash for many years.
The unit said that it will rectify and take disciplinary action against employees who violate the above sales regulations.
