Giving away 15,185 shopping vouchers
The mobile Trade Union Tet fair at Dien Nam - Dien Ngoc Industrial Park takes place from January 26 to January 28 with more than 30 booths. At the Tet Market, the Da Nang City Labor Federation has distributed 15,185 shopping vouchers, each voucher worth 100,000 VND to union members and workers in difficult circumstances. With these shopping vouchers, union members and workers can buy essential goods with products that are high-quality Vietnamese goods at preferential prices.
After the Mobile Trade Union Tet Market session at Dien Nam - Dien Ngoc Industrial Park, Da Nang City Labor Federation also organized 3 more fair sessions at Tam Thang Industrial Park (from January 30 to February 1) and distributed 14,820 shopping vouchers; at Bac Chu Lai Industrial Park (from February 2 to February 4) with 5,000 shopping vouchers and at Hoa Khanh Ward Administrative Center Square (from February 5 to February 8) with 30,000 shopping vouchers. In total, in 4 fair sessions, Da Nang City Labor Federation distributed 65,000 shopping vouchers to union members and workers, worth more than 6.5 billion VND.
Mr. Le Van Dai - Standing Vice Chairman of Da Nang City Labor Federation - said: With the motto of always focusing on the grassroots level, taking union members and workers as the center, in recent years, the Da Nang City Trade Union organization has constantly innovated the content and methods of care, especially during the traditional Tet holiday of the nation. In particular, this year's Tet activities are implemented in the context of merging Quang Nam and Da Nang, the target group is more concerned, the area is expanded, and the requirements and activities are therefore more carefully and focused on so that all union members and workers can enjoy the care of the Trade Union organization.
Series of activities to care for more than 210,000 union members
Continuing to maintain the theme "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party", Da Nang City Labor Federation simultaneously organized a series of activities to care for more than 210,000 union members at nearly 1,800 grassroots trade unions. The program accompanies union members and workers in difficult circumstances to give 24,000 gifts, worth 24 billion VND to union members and workers, of which trade union finance is 16 billion VND, and from the city budget is 8 billion VND.
1,000 gifts were given to workers who did not return to their hometowns for Tet, single workers in difficult circumstances in self-managed worker groups in boarding houses. The Trade Union bus brought nearly 5,000 union members and relatives back to their hometowns for Tet; The Trade Union train with nearly 2,000 free train tickets. The program to say goodbye to union members returning to their hometowns for Tet on the train and bus was organized in 2 locations: old Quang Nam and Da Nang city. Accompanying trade union officials, giving 200 gifts to grassroots trade union officials who have made many contributions to trade union activities. The 2026 Trade Union New Year's Eve meal was organized at 15 grassroots trade unions, each meal 70,000 VND, along with activities such as: Giving Tet gifts to union members; exchanging and sharing between union members and leaders of the City Labor Federation.
Leaders of the Party, State, National Assembly, and VGCL will visit and give gifts to Da Nang Trade Union members in the days leading up to Tet with 750 gifts, with a budget of 1,050,000,000 VND and 750 gift bags, worth 300,000 VND/gift bag.
