At the conference, the Standing Committee of Hai Phong City Labor Federation approved the plan and working regulations with communes, wards, and special zones; the plan to manage, operate and develop new features of the Huong Cong - Hai Phong Trade Union application.
The conference also approved the plan to implement the project to replicate the "Civilized and Safe Workers' Housing Area" model for the period 2025-2030; the plan to deploy the "Free Wireless Internet Access System at Workers' Boarding Houses in the area" in 2026; initial results of implementing Workers' Month 2026 activities and many other contents.
Delegates also discussed and considered studying the pilot implementation of electric buses to pick up and drop off workers; considering the estimated budget as well as coordination with departments, branches, units, and businesses for effective implementation. According to the plan, the program will be piloted in the Eastern area of Hai Phong, then the effectiveness will be evaluated for implementation throughout the city.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Chairman of Hai Phong City Labor Federation assessed that between the 2 sessions of the Standing Committee of the City Labor Federation, the activities were effectively and creatively implemented by the city's Trade Union levels, creating a spread and social effect. Notably, the photo contest "You are the color of March sunshine", the running race "Healthy and beautiful steps" and many activities in Workers' Month 2026.
In the near future, the Hai Phong City Labor Federation will promote the work of developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions; focus on simultaneously deploying cultural and sports activities, aiming for the goal of each union member and worker participating in at least one sport to improve health, physical and mental health. Thereby, spreading the spirit of Workers' Month as well as creating a vibrant emulation atmosphere towards celebrating the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026)...
