Commemorating the 116th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 - March 8, 2026), the 1986th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising, the City Labor Federation (Hai Phong City Labor Federation) is expected to launch the contest "You are the color of March sunshine".
Accordingly, each Trade Union of communes, wards, special zones, and grassroots trade unions directly under the City Labor Federation emulation bloc sends entries to the Hai Phong City Labor Federation for posting on the City Trade Union fanpage according to the following distribution: Industrial Zone Trade Union sends 50 photos, each Trade Union of communes, wards, and special zones sends 20 photos, grassroots Trade Union directly under the Emulation Block sends 5 photos.
Entries are high-quality full-body photos of female union members and workers in traditional ao dai or modernized ao dai but still ensuring discreetness and politeness (minimum number of participants from 10 people or more (encourage bonus points for works with large participants). Time to submit entries is from March 7 to 10, the voting period for entries is 4:00 PM on March 16.
Entries that receive the highest number of likes and shares on the Hai Phong Trade Union Fanpage will be awarded by the Organizing Committee of the Contest with 1 first prize of 1.5 million VND, 10 second prizes of 1 million VND and 20 third prizes of 500,000 VND/prize.
Prizes based on the evaluation of the Judging Panel will include 5 First Prizes of 3,000 VND/prize; 10 Second Prizes of 2,000 VND/prize; 20 Third Prizes of 1,000 VND/prize.
Prizes for the collective include 3 First Prizes of 3,000 VND/prize; 5 Second Prizes of 2,000 VND/prize; 7 Third Prizes of 1,000 VND/prize.
Also at the anniversary and launching ceremony of the contest, the Hai Phong City Labor Federation plans to give gifts to single female union members in difficult circumstances; organize an ao dai parade with the participation of about 500 female union members and workers.
The program is not only an activity to care for and improve the material and spiritual life of female workers but also contributes to arousing the responsibility of preserving and promoting Vietnamese cultural heritage through the ao dai for female union members and workers.
