The Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party program of An Bien Ward Trade Union took place in a joyful and excited atmosphere to welcome the new Binh Ngo spring 2026. At the program, Hai Phong City Labor Federation awarded 358 million VND to take care of Tet for union members and workers in the area; awarded allowances and Tet gifts to workers and laborers in difficult circumstances.

Mr. Nguyen Van Phiet - Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City Labor Federation - sent New Year greetings to union members and workers of An Bien ward and their families. At the same time, he requested the Ward Trade Union and grassroots trade unions in the area to grasp the thoughts and lives of union members and workers, the employment situation, salaries, and bonuses during Tet so that trade union levels can promptly take care of them, with the goal that all union members and workers can celebrate Tet, "no one is left behind".
Previously, the Ward Trade Union summarized trade union activities and the CNVCLĐ movement in the ward in 2025; deployed tasks for 2026. An Bien Ward Trade Union is currently assigned to monitor and manage 71 grassroots trade unions with nearly 4,000 union members. The proportion of workers who are union members accounts for 86%. The labor and employment situation of CNVCLĐ is relatively stable and gradually improved. Currently, the average income of workers in the whole ward reaches more than 8 million VND/person/month. Although the salary and income of union members and workers have increased, it has not met the actual needs.

The labor relations situation in the ward is basically stable, there are no labor disputes, and there are no prolonged collective work stoppages affecting security and order. However, in the ward, there are still businesses that have not properly implemented regulations on policies for employees such as violating regulations on occupational safety and health, policies for female workers and gender equality, and there is still a situation of late social insurance contributions affecting the rights of employees...
Therefore, in 2026, An Bien Ward Trade Union identified the key task as focusing on protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers, focusing on wages and income of workers. Along with that, implement solutions to improve the effectiveness of dialogue and collective bargaining to bring benefits to union members and workers.

The Ward Trade Union proactively forecasts the situation, proposes appropriate trade union operating solutions and proposes and coordinates with functional agencies to handle issues arising in practice, especially related to the implementation of policies and regimes related to workers' rights and trade union activities. At the same time, strengthen the care for the interests of union members, expand social welfare and comprehensive health care for workers. In the immediate future, the Ward Trade Union organizes activities to care for the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026 to ensure practicality and effectiveness; prioritizing workers in difficult circumstances, workers affected by the arrangement of apparatus and production conversion.
