Currently, Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation has 2 departments (Union Working Committee; Industrial Park Union Committee) with more than 100 officers and employees. Ninh Binh Provincial Federation of Labor is currently managing over 1,600 grassroots unions with over 360,000 union members.
In the first 6 months of 2025, trade unions at all levels in Ninh Binh, Ha Nam, and the old Nam Dinh provinces (now Ninh Binh province) have focused on implementing many practical activities to care for the lives of union members and workers, especially during the Lunar New Year 2025, Workers' Month... Trade unions at all levels have organized activities to visit, give gifts, give "Union Shelters", coordinate to organize the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng", issue shopping vouchers, organize discount booths and cultural and artistic activities for union members and workers.
Speaking with Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Hai Long - Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation - said that in the coming time, the Provincial Labor Federation will continue to focus on performing well the task of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers, focusing on negotiation, dialogue, signing collective labor agreements, coordinating with State management agencies to strengthen supervision, inspection, and handling of violations of labor law and Trade Union Law, especially the issue of unpaid wages and social insurance debts of union members and workers... At the same time, deploy activities to care for, ensure welfare, maintain jobs, and improve the lives of union members and workers.
Continue to innovate and improve the effectiveness of propaganda about the Party's policies and the State's laws to union members and employees, promote effective propaganda channels through the application of information technology and social networking platforms. Launch patriotic emulation movements among union members and workers, focusing on the movement "Good workers - Creative workers" associated with implementing the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style to achieve achievements in celebrating important political events and major holidays of the country and the province.
Promote solutions to develop union members, establish grassroots unions, train and develop the Party among workers; focus on training and fostering professional skills for union cadres at all levels to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation; promote the effectiveness of the Trade Union Cadre Club models to replicate, exchange and share experiences between units.
Strengthen information and propaganda work on women's and gender equality policies; population work, family building, child care and education for union members and workers; strengthen financial management and union assets, ensure savings, prevent and combat waste; promote solutions on fund collection and union fees, ensure resources to organize activities of the Trade Union organization.
