On May 16, Bao Loc City Labor Federation (Lam Dong) organized a 5-a-side men's football tournament for civil servants, public employees and workers in 2025.
The tournament will have the participation of 6 teams from grassroots trade unions in the city such as:
The High School Union, Bao Loc Urban Construction Joint Stock Company, Scavi Bao Loc Joint Stock Company, Saigon - Lam Dong Beer Company, Dong Nai 5 TKV Hydropower Company and Southern Hydropower Joint Stock Company.
After a day of exciting competition, the Saigon - Lam Dong Beer Company Trade Union team won the championship; in second place was the High School Trade Union Team; the two teams of Scavi Bao Loc Joint Stock Company and Southern Hydropower Joint Stock Company shared third place.
Previously, on May 8, the Federation coordinated with Gia Viet Saigon Health Care Company Limited to organize medical examinations and provide free medicine to 150 employees at Scavi Bao Loc Joint Stock Company.
Here, 150 workers were given a general examination and screening for diseases at risk of arising during the work process.
In addition, female union members and workers are examined and consulted in depth on reproductive health and maternity and childcare.
After screening, 150 workers were given free medicine to treat diseases at risk of arising with a total cost of nearly 40 million VND.
Also on this occasion, at Kanaan Bao Loc Company Limited (Loc Son Industrial Park), a direct drinking water treatment system project for workers has been built, with a total value of 250 million VND.
This system includes crude filtering steps, activated coal filtering, RO (Reverse Osmosis) filter, UV disease control and a post-treatment water cooling/heating system.
The system is installed in the general living areas of the factory with 12 automatic drinking water pourers and 6 hot and cold water machines.
Mr. Nguyen Van Manh - Chairman of Bao Loc City Labor Federation said that to protect the rights of workers during Workers' Month and Labor Safety and Hygiene Action Month in 2025, the Federation will coordinate with Trade Union organizations to organize activities towards the grassroots.
