20:20: Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh - Politburo member, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister gave a speech at the Program

Speaking at the Program, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh emphasized that during his lifetime, the beloved President Ho Chi Minh affirmed: "Vietnamese brocade of tournaments is woven by our women, young and old, to make it more beautiful and brilliant." The thousand-year history of our nation is a great proof of that truth. From the spirit of Hai Ba Trung, Ba Trieu to the sacrifice of female heroes of the Ho Chi Minh era such as Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Vo Thi Sau..., Vietnamese women have forged 8 precious golden words: "Hero, Incestuous, Middle-Qinged, East".

In today's work of building and defending the Fatherland, Vietnamese women are increasingly developing in all aspects, affirming their role, position and making great contributions in many fields. Those great contributions are an important driving force, contributing to the country overcoming countless difficulties, fluctuations and challenges to achieve comprehensive and proud achievements.

Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh praised the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and Trade Unions at all levels for their many initiatives and continuous efforts in participating in solving pressing and urgent problems of workers, especially for women, such as implementing the construction of trade union social housing; models of "your health", "collective weddings", " Summers for workers' children"... The emulation movement "Good at public work, good at housework" has increasingly attracted the active participation of Vietnamese women and become a strong driving force to arouse great potential of female union members and workers.

Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh commented: With the responsibility of "Good at public affairs", the movement has promoted thousands of breakthrough initiatives, technical improvements, and production rationalization, contributing practically to increasing labor productivity and sustainable development. With the responsibility of " Taking care of the housework", the Women have successfully completed their civil service as wives and mothers.

Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh congratulated 10 female union members who were awarded and 20 outstanding collectives and 60 outstanding individuals today were honored.

"Ladies, each person has a situation, a job, but all shine with the will to rise up, a creative labor spirit and a kind heart. They are typical representatives of the qualities of Vietnamese women "Courage, Intelligence, Humanity and Aspiration" in the new era" - Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh emphasized.

According to the Permanent Deputy Prime Minister, our country is entering an era of rising up, being rich, prosperous, civilized, and happy with the aspiration to build a strong and prosperous country. This great mission requires consensus and determination higher than ever, and in which the role and potential of women must be liberated and maximized.

He suggested that Party committees at all levels, authorities, ministries and branches must consider women's work and gender equality as a core and continuous political task. We need to resolutely eliminate all barriers and gender discrimination, ensuring a truly equal environment. We must continue to improve the legal framework, better protect the legitimate rights of female workers, especially in the informal sector. At the same time, resolutely and effectively combat domestic violence and sexual harassment; actively participate in preventing human trafficking and building effective support mechanisms for victims...

Trade unions at all levels must strongly innovate, put women's work and women's progress at the center, identifying this as the highest responsibility of the heads of trade union organizations. Trade unions must truly be a representative voice, increase negotiation and signing of Labor Agreements with provisions beneficial to female workers, especially in supporting health check-ups, supporting child-rearing conditions, supporting education, etc.

For each female union member and worker, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh hopes that women will continue to promote the glorious and resilient tradition; always nurture great aspirations, dare to think, dare to do, dare to contribute to the Fatherland and family.

Always be confident, determine your values correctly and constantly strive to become the best version of yourself.

Let's consider learning and improving qualifications as an inevitable journey. And more importantly, know how to love and take care of your health, both physically and mentally. A beautiful compleance, a clear mind can only be formed in a healthy body. At the same time, we must proactively equip ourselves with the necessary self-defense skills to protect ourselves and our loved ones from risks... - Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh emphasized.

Ms. Do Nguyet Anh - Northern Power Corporation (Vietnam Power Group): Continuously learning, surpassing oneself, and must affirm that this is an opportunity for all of us - not for anyone

I was extremely surprised to receive the award, because I never thought that the work I do every day would be recognized and highly appreciated by leaders and trade unions at all levels especially the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

This award is a great reward, and also a motivation for me to continue working, contributing and striving. This is also a message to all women: work hard, strive constantly, because recognition will come to those who are dedicated and persistent.

I hope that all women will be given more favorable conditions in work and life, have the opportunity to access the advances of the times to develop themselves and their careers. At the same time, we hope that leaders at all levels will trust and boldly assign women great responsibilities and tasks so that we can affirm our capacity and contribute more to society.

This is the first award of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, and I am very proud to be one of the women honored to stand on the podium to receive the award today. I hope that in the coming time, this award will attract more women in all fields to participate, contributing to spreading the spirit of dedication and innovation.

More and more women are affirming their role and position in society. Under the timely and methodical guidance of State and Government leaders at all levels, Vietnamese women will have more opportunities to develop and contribute to the country.

From my own experiences, I want to send a message: every woman needs to proactively equip herself with knowledge and skills to avoid falling behind the times. The first thing is to constantly study, surpass yourself and realize that this is an opportunity for all of us - not for anyone.

"We may have weak legs and weak arms, but we have weak power; if we know how to use them well, we will definitely achieve good results," Ms. Anh shared.

Over the years, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has always paid attention to recognizing and promoting the role of female workers and civil servants, maintaining the organization and development of emulation movements, typically the emulation movement "Good at public work, Good at housework" among female workers and civil servants. Through each stage, the movement has always been focused on the grassroots, to encourage female union members and workers to overcome difficulties and complete assigned tasks well. Trade unions at all levels have created and concretized the content of the emulation movement "Good at public work - Good at home work" to suit reality, for each industry.

Ms. Do Thanh Thuy - Head of the Women's Union, Viet Tiep lock Company: Emulation is not only a driving force, but an inevitable requirement in the cause of innovation and development of the country

To achieve this achievement, I always try to improve my qualifications and abilities and actively participate in the unit's emulation movements.

After this noble award, I am aware that I have to continue to strive more, while spreading the spirit of competition to female union members in particular and all women in Khoa Viet Tiep Company in general. I hope that there will be more outstanding women's examples honored, contributing to affirming the role and position of Vietnamese women in the new era.

This morning, I visited President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, listened to and saw valuable documents about Uncle Ho's revolutionary life. I felt that I needed to make more efforts to be worthy of the love and trust of beloved Uncle Ho.

According to Ms. Thuy, emulation is not only a driving force but also an inevitable requirement in the process of national renewal and development. Only emulation can create tools to promote development; emulation helps us find creative solutions and methods to achieve new successes, she emphasized.

In addition, the movement is always associated with the emulation movement "Good workers, creative workers", the movement "Building Vietnamese women of the new era". After nearly 4 decades of implementation, it has affirmed that the movement is not only an emulation slogan but has become an individual need and aspiration of millions of Vietnamese women, to shine in both the "family" and "social" aspects.

In the period of 2020 - 2025, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor awarded certificates of merit to 1,500 typical collectives and individuals in the emulation movement "Good at public work, good at home work". From the results of this movement, hundreds of female cadres, workers and civil servants were awarded the Creative Labor badge of the General Confederation. Many women have been awarded Certificates of Merit by the Prime Minister, noble Medals by the President of various types, or have been awarded the title of Hero of Labor in the renovation period, the title of Doctor, People's Teacher, Meritorious Artist or other honorable titles...

At the program, 10 individuals will be awarded the "Dynamic, Creative, Responsible Female Union Members" Award; 20 collectives and 60 individuals will be honored in the emulation movement "Good at public work, good at home work" for the period 2020 - 2025.
