The press conference was attended by Ms. Thai Thu Xuong - Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. 90 outstanding female union members attended the ceremony.
At the ceremony, delegates listened to Uncle Ho's call for patriotic emulation.
On behalf of the delegation to report to Uncle Ho, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tu Anh - union member, direct production manager of TKG Taekwang Vina Joint Stock Company - said that during her lifetime, Ngu always paid special attention to women, including female union members and the union organization. His ideology is the guiding principle for all activities, in each stage of growth and development of the working class and the Vietnam Trade Union organization. He believes that women are half of society: "Vietnamese brocade is woven by our women, young and old, to make it more beautiful and brilliant."
Following Uncle Ho's example, female union members always strive to study, practice, work enthusiastically, and actively participate in patriotic emulation movements launched by the Trade Union organization. From the practical work of the movement, many typical examples of female union members have appeared, being dynamic, creative, responsible, "good at public affairs, good at housework", devoted to work, and kind in life.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Tu Anh, the 90 outstanding female union members attending today are people with great creativity and maturity in labor, production, and professional work; have many effective solutions and methods in labor, production and trade union organization at the grassroots level, many comrades have made great contributions to the unit and enterprise.
"Studying and following His ideology, morality and style, based on the direction and guidance of trade unions at different levels, we in each different position have continuously studied, improved our skills, innovated working style and methods, mastered knowledge and skills to serve work; constantly innovated, created, approached and applied advanced science and technology in production.
Not only good at work, we sisters also do not forget the responsibility of wife, mother, and child in the family; always arrange work reasonably and spend time connecting and loving between members, cultivate family happiness, raise good children, study well, contribute to building a warm home full of love - just like Uncle Ho once advised: "A good family is good for society, a good society is good for the country to develop prosperously" - Ms. Nguyen Thi Tu Anh was moved.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Tu Anh, 90 outstanding female union members attending the reporting ceremony to pay their respects to Uncle Ho are living proof of his results in studying and following his ideology, morality and style.
"This is an great honor and pride, and at the same time an opportunity for each of us to reflect on ourselves, wish to continue to follow Uncle Ho's example, strive constantly in working, studying and contributing. This is also an opportunity to affirm the role of the Vietnam Trade Union in accompanying union members and workers, to promote gender equality, care for the material and spiritual life of workers, build happy families, for the sustainable development of businesses and the country", the female union member expressed.
On behalf of 90 outstanding female union members, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tu Anh promised to devote all her heart and intelligence to contribute to building a modern and strong working class, a prosperous country, and happy families as she wished.
After the pressing ceremony, the delegation placed a wreath at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum; visited the relic of President Ho Chi Minh at the Presidential Palace.
On the evening of October 15, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor will hold the 1st "Dynamic, Creative, Responsible Female Union Members" Award Ceremony in 2025 and summarize and reward the emulation movement "Good at public work, good at housework" for the period 2020 - 2025.
