The level of bonus for various types of Medals is stipulated in Article 55 of Decree 98/2023/ND-CP, specifically as follows:
Medal bonus levels of all types
1. Individuals who are awarded or posthumously awarded Medals of all types will be awarded Certificates, frames, Medals with the following bonus amounts:
YOUTH: ....
g) Second-class “Labor Medal”, Second-class “Military Exploit Medal”, Second-class “Fatherland Protection Medal”, “National Great Unity Medal”: 7.5 times the basic salary;
h) Third-class “Labor Medal”, Third-class “Military Exploit Medal”, Third-class “Fatherland Protection Medal” and “Bravery Medal”: 4.5 times the basic salary.
2. Collectives awarded Medals of all types are awarded Certificates, frames, and Medals with a bonus amount twice the bonus amount for individuals as prescribed in Clause 1 of this Article.
Accordingly, the bonus for the 3rd class Labor Medal is 4.5 times the basic salary.
Currently, according to Clause 2, Article 3 of Decree 73/2024/ND-CP, the current basic salary is 2,340,000 VND/month. Thus, the bonus for the 3rd class Labor Medal is 2,340,000 x 4.5 = 10,530,000 VND.
