Resolution 38/2024/NQ-HDND stipulates special policies to support people with revolutionary contributions and relatives of people with revolutionary contributions in Ho Chi Minh City.
Accordingly, the policy to support people with revolutionary contributions and relatives of people with revolutionary contributions who are in difficult circumstances is regulated as follows: War invalids with a body injury rate of 81% or more who are in difficult circumstances;
War invalids with a body injury rate of 81% or more in difficult circumstances; Relatives receiving death benefits of two martyrs in difficult circumstances;
Relatives of martyrs receiving support allowances are in difficult circumstances; People who have contributed to the revolution and are receiving support allowances are in difficult circumstances;
Resistance fighters infected with toxic chemicals with a body injury rate of 81% or more and in difficult circumstances;
The surviving children of resistance fighters infected with toxic chemicals, whose biological children themselves are infected with toxic chemicals and have a physical injury rate of 81% or more, are in difficult circumstances.
Regarding preferential allowances for meritorious people in difficult circumstances:
Support a regular monthly allowance equal to 1.5 times the standard preferential allowance for people with revolutionary contributions as prescribed in Decree 77/2024/ND-CP.
The standard level of preferential allowance for people with revolutionary contributions is 2,789,000 VND, effective from July 1, 2024.
Thus, the standard monthly allowance for people with revolutionary contributions and relatives of people with revolutionary contributions in difficult circumstances in Ho Chi Minh City will be 4,183,000 VND.
