On March 25, the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation said that it had just worked with the Thanh Vinh Ward Trade Union to improve operational efficiency and deploy tasks in the coming time.
Currently, the Thanh Vinh Ward Trade Union manages 61 grassroots trade unions with 4,742 union members. Over the past time, trade union activities have gradually become disciplined, focusing on caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers, and emulation movements have been practically implemented.
However, the Ward Trade Union still faces some difficulties due to the new organizational model, small businesses, and wide and dispersed operating areas. The work of developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions still faces many challenges.
Concluding the working session, Comrade Phan Thi Trang - Vice President of the Provincial Labor Federation acknowledged and highly appreciated the concern and creation of conditions by the Ward Party Committee for trade union activities, and praised the efforts of the Thanh Vinh Ward Trade Union in the past time.
The comrade requested that in the coming time, the Ward Trade Union continue to promote the work of caring for and protecting the rights of workers; promote the representative role of the trade union organization; strengthen closeness to grassroots levels, proactively grasp the business situation to build a strong trade union organization.
In addition, it is necessary to actively direct grassroots trade unions to participate in contests to learn about congress resolutions; effectively organize activities of Workers' Month, Labor Safety and Health Month, contributing to improving the lives and working conditions of workers.
