Deploying a series of nationwide programs to promote green action among young people, from the community to innovation.
The signing ceremony was held on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, to promote the pioneering and creative role of youth in environmental protection activities, promote green initiatives, and contribute to building a sustainable future in Vietnam.

According to the agreement, the two sides will mobilize maximum resources, coordinate to deploy nationwide-scale campaigns, focusing on 4 key pillars:
First, promote community activities for the environment. The For a Green Future Fund and the Ministry Youth Union will coordinate to organize practical programs and campaigns to raise awareness and change behavior towards green living, sustainable consumption, and emission reduction. Notably, national-scale programs such as: "Green Wednesday", "Joining Hands for a Green Planet", "Joining Hands for a Green Sky"... are expected to create a strong spillover effect in society.
Second, expand and improve the effectiveness of the "Green Summer" Volunteer Campaign, with a focus on practical activities such as: sorting waste at source, collecting waste, planting trees, building "solar energy lamps", and at the same time propagating and training green lifestyles for young people nationwide. In parallel, green residential areas, green schools, and green agencies will also be built and replicated, contributing to improving the quality of living space in the community.
Third, focus on promoting innovation, through organizing competitions and awards for environmental initiatives, encouraging innovative products with content revolving around the theme of sustainable development. Notably, the two sides committed to connecting potential initiatives, green startup models, circular economy with businesses and investors, creating conditions for ideas not only to stop at experimental scale but to be incubated, perfected and replicated in practice. This is the highlight of the 2026–2028 cooperation period.
Fourth, strengthen coordination in building and developing a network of students, youth union members and environmental volunteers. This network aims to share experiences, spread effective models, and connect individuals, organizations and initiatives, thereby creating a widespread green action ecosystem.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Ta Hong Son, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, expressed his desire to accompany the For a Green Future Fund in practical action programs, towards changing behavior and creating sustainable values. Typical examples include the movement to build "green agency", "green community", youth projects associated with environmental protection, climate change adaptation...
According to Dr. Le Thai Ha - Managing Director of the For a Green Future Fund, youth are the force capable of creating the strongest change in environmental protection campaigns and action programs. "Green development does not just stop at messages, but needs to be concretized by practical actions that can be measured and create positive changes in community awareness and behavior," Dr. Ha emphasized.
Through this cooperation, the two sides aim to further promote the role of youth in environmental protection and green transformation. On that basis, programs and initiatives are implemented synchronously, strongly spreading green lifestyles in the community and promoting changes in the awareness and behavior of the young generation, contributing to realizing Vietnam's Net Zero goal.
