Union Meals review the history of the country's 80 years of independence
To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day September 2 and the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union, the Trade Union Meals were held as a gratitude to workers.
In particular, at the Union Meals, business leaders and the Union and workers reviewed the 20-year history of the country's independence. Of which, 3 companies under Panasonic Vietnam Group co-organized a Union Meal to pay tribute to more than 3,000 workers. The program was jointly organized by Panasonic Vietnam Co., Ltd., Panasonic System Networks Vietnam Co., Ltd. and Panasonic Industrial devices Vietnam Co., Ltd., receiving positive responses from the business leadership and a large number of employees.
Grassroots trade unions under the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union organized a Trade Union Meal for workers on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2. At Vinatex Da Nang Joint Stock Company, the Trade Union and the professional team coordinated to organize a Trade Union Meal for all staff, workers and laborers. The Union Meal is a gratitude with the message of companionship, sharing and connection. Union meals are served at 1,800 meals, each worth 50,000 VND.
At the factory of Canon Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Thang Long Industrial Park, about 10,000 workers enjoyed the Union Meal. Compared to the regular daily meal of 24,000 VND, the meal at the Union Meal is supported with an additional 26,000 VND.
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Truong - who has worked at the Company for 7 years - said that his daily meals usually include 2 main dishes, a vegetable dish and a soup, which are enough to fill. With the Union Meal, the amount of food is increased, so many workers eat less rice but are still full. He also shared that the meals are arranged more beautifully than usual, looking more attractive.
The special thing for Mr. Truong and his colleagues is that this is an occasion to review the country's 50-year history and the tradition of the Trade Union, thereby increasing patriotism and a sense of responsibility in work.
