On the occasion of the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025), the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), on August 29, the Yen Bai Ward Trade Union coordinated with the grassroots trade union of Yen Bai Water Supply and Construction Joint Stock Company to organize a "Union Meal" and organize sports competitions for union members and workers.
Attending the program were Permanent Vice President of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation Vu Cao Minh; leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee of Yen Bai Ward; leaders of enterprises along with nearly 100 union members and workers working at Yen Bai Water Supply and Construction Joint Stock Company.
Speaking at the meeting, the Standing Vice President of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation acknowledged and praised the efforts of Yen Bai Ward Labor Union, enterprises and workers in maintaining jobs, ensuring income, and always paying attention to the spiritual life of union members and workers.
Mr. Vu Cao Minh hopes that through the "Union Meals", cadres, workers, and laborers will share joy, strengthen solidarity, and thereby create more enthusiastic working spirit.
On this occasion, Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation and Yen Bai Ward Labor Union presented 10 gifts to 10 union members of the company in difficult circumstances, each worth VND500,000, demonstrating the spirit of sharing and deep concern of the union organization for workers.
