The company will adjust new workers according to the regional minimum wage, while other employees will adjust an additional 140,000 VND to their basic salary effective from July 2024.
However, workers requested an increase of 280,000 VND according to Decree 74/2024/ND-CP dated June 30, 2024 of the Government.
After the collective work stoppage occurred , the interdisciplinary working group came to work with the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of the company's grassroots Trade Union to request the company to consider and negotiate to adjust the minimum wage to be reasonable and appropriate. in accordance with the law and invite employee representatives to dialogue, negotiate and explain so that employees understand.
By July 19, about 1,500/1,793 workers of Yupoong Vietnam Co., Ltd. stopped working collectively.
The collective labor dispute resolution team continues to work with the company's General Director, asking the company to consider increasing VND 200,000/person (there will be an additional difference in salary fund of VND 100 million/month). Through work, the company presented that there were no orders, so the company could not further adjust the minimum wage for employees.
Up to now, the Board of Directors of the Company announced that: After the agencies and departments worked with the Board of Directors of the Company, the final working result was to maintain the entire content of notice 05/HR-TB. /2024 on July 18, 2024 and recommend that employees return to work on Monday (July 22).
