On August 18, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation organized a conference to deploy and thoroughly implement Resolution No. 02-NQ/TU of the City Party Committee Executive Committee on improving the effectiveness of crime prevention and control and drug evils for trade unions, businesses, and landlords with many workers in the city.
At the conference, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dao Minh Huy - Officer of Team 5, Staff Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police deployed core contents related to crime prevention and control and drug evils in the new situation.
One of the key contents is launching the model "Rooms without crime and drug evils". 20 landlords in areas managed by working groups participated in responding and registering to implement it.

According to the launched content, landlords are mobilized to strictly implement temporary residence and stay registration; develop internal regulations and rental contracts with regulations on drug prevention and control; strengthen security in the entering and exit areas and coordinate with functional forces when detecting unusual signs.
The Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation also encourages building a green, clean, beautiful, and safe living environment; paying attention to fire prevention and fighting, environmental sanitation and prevention of domestic violence and abuse of women and children.

Speaking in conclusion, Mr. Pham Chi Tam - Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation - emphasized that building boarding houses without crime and without drug evils is a starting point to strengthen coordination between trade unions, police, local authorities, landlords and workers, contributing to the goal of Ho Chi Minh City being free of drugs by 2030.
