On October 11, the An Giang Provincial Labor Culture House (Long Xuyen Ward) organized a cultural program to celebrate Vietnamese Women's Day. With the theme "Modern Vietnamese Women Confident - Self-respect - Mid-wife - Confident", the Labor Culture House organized 4 main activities, such as: Folk dance - exercise exchange to sustain health; Flower Buffet; Literature booth and volleyball competition.
This is an expanded exchange activity. Accordingly, in addition to female union members, workers and civil servants and female members who are active at clubs of the An Giang Provincial Labor Culture House, there are also teams from many other localities, such as: Dong Thap, Vinh Long, Can Tho, Ho Chi Minh City.
There were a total of over 300 participants, including 20 teams participating in folk dance - physical exercise exchange; 8 volleyball teams... In the physical exercise exchange event, each team will perform 1 performance, with a maximum duration of 6 minutes/performance.
As for the volleyball content, compete according to the Law on volleyball issued by the General Department of Physical Education and Sports in 2015 and some amendments and supplements. The organizing committee awarded prizes, including flags, medals, and bonuses to 4 teams with high rankings, including: 1 First prize, 1 Second prize, and 2 Third prizes.
As for the Flower Bucket Party, it is both to create a beautiful landscape for female athletes to enjoy taking souvenir photos, and to let everyone who needs to freely create their own bouquets of flowers made by themselves. The finished product was brought back to give to loved ones. The price of each ticket is 59,000 VND. The calligraphy booth applies a promotional price, down 50% compared to normal days, to create conditions for athletes, those attending the program... to buy as gifts for relatives on Vietnamese Women's Day.
According to Mr. Nguyen Huu Tri - Deputy Director of the An Giang Provincial Labor Culture House, this is just a practical activity in response to the emulation movement "Building An Giang women in the new era", "An Giang women actively study, work creatively, build a warm, progressive, happy, and civilized family" associated with the celebration of Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20).
At the same time, it is also an activity that contributes to taking care of the spiritual life of female union members, workers and club members who are living and practicing at the Provincial Labor Culture House.
