In the 15th National " Young Skilled Workers" Award Program in 2025 recently held in Nghe An, Mr. Thai Binh Duong - Head of the TH Clean Fresh Milk Processing Factory Improvement Department (under TH Group Joint Stock Company) is one of 51 individuals honored.
From 2018 to present, Mr. Duong has continuously led many projects with high applicableity, cost savings, and improved production efficiency. Notable examples include promotional card programming works, automatic spoon issuers, pallet arrangers, milk remover robots, automatic balance systems or image processing systems for detecting ice cream cap errors and printing product date.
Not stopping at pure technology, he also pioneered the application of artificial intelligence (AI) and photo processing technology to the milk quality testing line - fields that were once considered the "land" of large technology corporations.
His achievements are not only savings numbers, but also a series of impressive titles: Encouragement Prize for Vietnam Science and Technology Innovation Award 2022, First Prize in Nghe An Technical Innovation Contest 2020-2021, Creative Labor Certificate of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor 2023...
Not only in the field of industrial production, the movement of initiatives and improvements also spread strongly in Nghe An health sector.
At the 2025 Creative Labor Forum organized by Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor on May 25, Doctor - People's Physician - Doctor Pham Vinh Hung (Deputy Director, Chairman of the Nghe An Oncology Hospital Trade Union) was honored with research works with a strong sense of humanity and practicality.
With the motto "each research topic is a hope to save patients' lives", he and his colleagues have implemented 26 scientific topics at all levels, with 12 works winning the Nghe An Province Science and Technology Innovation Award. In particular, the topic of "treating non-small cell lung cancer using the high- frequency wave burning method (RFA) using guidance robots" has opened up new treatment opportunities for many patients who cannot undergo surgery. With this method, the tumor in lung cancer patients is reduced in size or disappears, while still preserving maximum lung function - something that has never been common in Vietnam.
Taking on the role of professional and trade union leadership at the same time, Pham Vinh Hung People's Artist not only creates for himself, but also inspires and creates a scientific research environment for hundreds of staff and doctors. From 2021 to present, Nghe An Oncology Hospital has deployed over 300 scientific topics - a number that proves the strong influence of the spirit of "creative work for the sick".
Replicating the movement "Good workers - Creative workers"
According to Mr. Kha Van Tam - Chairman of Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor, during Workers' Month 2025, the province awarded Certificates of Merit to 5 collectives and 11 outstanding individuals in the creative movement. In the 2020-2025 period, the whole province has 137 union members and workers awarded the Creative Labor Certificate by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor - figures that not only demonstrate achievements, but also deeply reflect the competitive spirit that is spreading in all levels of trade unions.
From factories to hospitals, from production lines to operating rooms, the "Good workers - Creative workers" movement in Nghe An is becoming a vivid expression of the connection between trade unions and professionalism, between social responsibility and the desire to contribute. Many useful initiatives and effective technical solutions have contributed to improving productivity, product quality, improving working conditions and increasing income for workers.
