On October 23, the Long Dien Commune Trade Union (HCMC) announced that it had successfully organized the 1st Commune Trade Union Delegation Conference, term 2025-2030, with the action slogan "Building and consolidating a strong trade union organization in the direction of Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development".
The conference was attended by guest delegates representing the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation; leaders of Long Dien commune and 50 official delegates representing more than 3,000 union members in the area.
In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Long Dien Commune Trade Union has identified 11 targets to strive for, 6 main tasks and solutions. At the same time, set a general goal of promoting the tradition of solidarity, responsibility, creativity, innovation and improving the effectiveness of gathering and mobilizing union members and workers to join trade unions; innovating the content and methods of trade union activities to meet the requirements of the new situation; building a team of trade union cadres to meet the requirements of the digital transformation period; contributing to accompanying the Party Committee, government and people to build a civilized, modern and humane Long Dien commune.
The conference also announced decisions on personnel and introduced the Executive Committee of the Commune Trade Union, in which Mr. Nguyen Tuong Thanh will be Chairman of the Long Dien Commune Trade Union, term I, 2025-2030.
