On October 19, the Vung Tau Ward Trade Union (HCMC) announced that it had successfully organized the 1st Ward Trade Union Delegation Conference, term 2025-2030, in the spirit of Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development.
The conference was attended by guest delegates representing the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation; leaders of Vung Tau ward and 81 official delegates representing more than 7,500 union members and workers in the area.
The delegates discussed enthusiastically, contributing many enthusiastic opinions on solutions to improve the quality of grassroots trade union activities, develop union members, enhance representative roles, and protect workers' rights. At the same time, promote emulation movements "Good workers - Creative workers", "Good at public work - Good at home work" ... in the coming time.
In that spirit, the conference passed the Resolution with many specific targets: 100% of union members need to be consulted and have their legitimate rights protected; 90% of grassroots unions achieve the title of "Completing tasks well"; achieving annual union member development targets...
On this occasion, the conference also launched the Ward Trade Union Executive Committee consisting of 11 comrades, of which Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh is the Chairwoman of the Ward Trade Union; Ms. Nguyen Hong Van is the Vice Chairwoman of the Vung Tau Ward Trade Union, term I, 2025-2030.
