On March 2, the Vietnam Education Trade Union (VTC) said that, implementing the Program "Improving benefits and benefits for union members and workers", the grassroots trade union will continuously seek support resources and reputable business units to sign cooperation agreements in 2024 and early 2025 to provide health care products and services for cadres, teachers and workers in the industry at preferential prices.
In 2024, with the motto "Improving welfare and benefits for union members and workers", accompanying units to care for employees, trade unions signed cooperation agreements with many units.
The day after signing, the Trade Union will deploy a document introducing the unit and product list to the grassroots trade union, the trade union at the grassroots level and the Trade Union of provinces/cities to propagate and introduce to all employees in the industry to access and select the consumption and use of services and products. At the same time, promote and introduce on the website of the Trade Union and arrange appropriate times so that units can introduce and promote the image, services, and products of the unit directly to employees at trade union conferences and seminars.
On the part of partner units, not only providing products and services and applying preferential prices to employees as agreed, but also accompanying and caring for employees in events organized by the Trade Union.
In 2024, over 10,000 employees have purchased electrical appliances, household appliances, electronic equipment, rice cookers, pressure cookers, magnetic cookers, smart study lamps... at preferential prices, with a total value of over 7 billion VND.
According to the assessment of the Trade Union, agreements and cooperation programs have been widely implemented to units; products and services of relatively diverse enterprises, mainly products directly related to the health and daily life of employees; connection activities, information exchange between the Trade Union and interested units, thereby promptly grasping the situation and making adjustments to suit actual conditions...
In 2025, the Trade Union will continue to focus on solutions to mobilize all resources to effectively care for the material and spiritual lives of union members and employees; improve the effectiveness of signed cooperation programs and agreements with units; regularly monitor and grasp the grassroots situation to support, review and access feedback on the effectiveness and quality of products and preferential services... Strive to have 20% of union members enjoy preferential products and services from partners who have signed the program.
