Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha informed about the bright spots of the country's socio-economic development in 2024. According to Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, Binh Duong is the province with the second largest workforce in the country with more than 840,000 workers, most of whom come from other provinces, so the demand for housing to settle down is very large.
The Deputy Prime Minister suggested that Binh Duong should pay special attention to developing social housing and cultural institutions to improve the spiritual life suitable for young workers. At the conference, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Thai Thu Xuong, and leaders of Binh Duong province presented 700 Tet gifts to people and workers in difficult circumstances.
210 billion VND to take care of Tet
Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Duong province said that the province has approved a plan to support the Lunar New Year 2025 with a total budget of 210 billion VND. Of which, the provincial budget is 161.7 billion VND, the district budget is 48.3 billion VND. The budget increased by 18.3% compared to the Lunar New Year 2024, the total additional amount is 20.5 billion VND. The above budget will support more than 172,000 beneficiaries.
"Currently, the province is organizing delegations to visit and give gifts to families of people with revolutionary contributions, social protection beneficiaries, children in especially difficult circumstances, poor households, near-poor households, and workers in the area," said Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha.
