An Hoa Paper Joint Stock Company (Tuyen Quang province) currently has more than 800 union members and workers. Mr. Hoang Minh Son, Director of Administration - Human Resources of An Hoa Paper Joint Stock Company - said that improving techniques, processes and applying new technologies is identified as a regular task to improve productivity and product value.
The improved labor productivity also contributes to increasing the income of workers" - Mr. Son informed.
According to statistics, Tuyen Quang province currently has 310 grassroots trade unions, of which 234 are grassroots trade unions in the production, business, and management sector, with more than 27,460 union members and playing an important role in arousing the spirit of innovation in workers and laborers. From these movements, many initiatives have been formed, contributing to reducing costs, improving production efficiency, and creating added value for businesses.
In 2020, the average income of workers in Tuyen Quang only reached 59 million VND/worker, by 2025 it had increased to more than 130 million VND/worker. Many businesses investing in automated machinery and improving processes have helped increase productivity by 5-7% per year, while reducing intermediary costs.
However, this level is still lower than the general level of the whole country and many developed localities. One of the main reasons is that the skill level of workers is not uniform. The rate of trained workers is still low, many workers mainly work in agriculture, small-scale production, and have not had much access to modern technology.
In 2026, Tuyen Quang province set 32 targets, of which gross regional domestic product (GRDP) reached VND 106.338 billion, the growth rate of gross regional domestic product reached 10.17%. The industrial - construction sector increased by 14.87%.
Talking to PV, Mr. Trieu Tai Phong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Labor Federation - said that in the context of integration and the province setting a double-digit growth target, creative labor is not only a driving force but also a decisive factor in improving the productivity, quality and competitiveness of the local economy.
