More than 500 initiatives bring value of over 100 billion VND
At the launching ceremony of the emulation movement "Good Labor, High Productivity, Good Income" for the period 2026 – 2031 launched online by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on June 7, Mr. Le Ba Minh - a member of the grassroots Trade Union of Daiwa Vietnam Co., Ltd. was honored to represent more than 217,000 union members and workers in Da Nang city to speak and share about the journey of research, creativity and implementation of initiatives that bring practical efficiency in production, liberate labor and benefit businesses by billions of VND.
Among them, the typical is the topic "Design and manufacture of automatic component milling machines" - an initiative recognized and awarded a certificate of merit by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. The topic was also honored to be voted in the Top 10 typical products "Proud of Vietnamese Labor Intelligence".
This is not only my personal pride but also the result of the attention and investment in the right direction from the company's leaders, the support of the trade union organization and the continuous creative spirit of the collective of employees" - Mr. Minh said.
Mr. Minh's story is just one of many typical examples of the creative labor emulation movement that is spreading strongly in Da Nang. According to Mr. Le Van Dai - Standing Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City Labor Federation, in just the first 6 months of 2026, the whole city had more than 500 initiatives, technical improvements and solutions applied in practice, bringing benefits of over 100 billion VND.
Initiatives appear in many fields, from industrial production, electronics, mechanics to administration, services, education and healthcare. Not only helping businesses reduce costs, the solutions also contribute to improving product quality, improving working conditions, promoting digital transformation and increasing competitiveness.
Turning emulation movements into development motivation
Immediately after the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union, the City Labor Federation organized a bridge point for the Launching Ceremony of the "Good Labor, High Productivity, Good Income" movement for the period 2026 – 2031 and the 2026 Excellent Worker Skills Contest in the electronics industry, creating a vibrant emulation atmosphere in businesses.
Many grassroots trade unions also proactively launched programs such as "Golden Hand", "Productivity Race, Breakthrough Success", encouraging workers to promote initiatives right from their job positions.
According to Mr. Le Van Dai, the goal of the Trade Union organization is not only to launch emulation movements, but more importantly to create an environment for workers to have conditions to be creative, to be recognized and to enjoy the fruits of their own initiatives.
Especially in the context of digital transformation, technological innovation and increasingly high requirements for improving labor productivity, workers' initiatives are no longer simply small improvements in the production line but have become an important resource to help businesses improve their competitiveness.
We will continue to innovate the organization of emulation movements in a practical direction, taking efficiency as a measure; and at the same time focus on discovering, fostering and replicating advanced examples to spread the spirit of creativity among union members and workers," Mr. Le Van Dai emphasized.
From the story of Mr. Le Ba Minh to more than 500 initiatives bringing in over 100 billion VND in just the first half of 2026, it can be seen that the creative labor emulation movement in Da Nang is shifting from breadth to depth.
These are not only telling numbers, but also proof of a team of workers who are increasingly mastering technology, daring to think, daring to do and willing to contribute more to the development of businesses as well as the city.
