It is forecasted that in the second quarter of 2025, the Hanoi labor market is expected to continue to grow strongly, with businesses and units in the area having a need to recruit about 100,000 - 120,000 workers.
This is the time when many sectors need to add personnel to serve the production and business expansion plan, while benefiting from the support policies of the Government and the city in promoting economic growth, said Mr. Thanh.
Also according to the representative of the Hanoi Employment Service Center, the total number of recruitment targets in February 2025 in Hanoi City is estimated at about 28,850, reflecting the positive changes of the market and the revival of commercial, service, tourism and entertainment activities.
The survey at the center recorded 6,358 recruitment positions from 1,408 enterprises, of which recruitment demand focused mainly on the wholesale, retail and service activities, accounting for 58.78%, up 1.53% over the previous month.
The processing, manufacturing and construction industry also witnessed a significant increase in recruitment demand, accounting for 30.29% of the total target, up 9.49% over the previous month.
In March 2025, recruitment demand will increase in the processing, manufacturing, healthcare - healthcare, renewable energy, green economy, finance, banking and insurance industries.
