On July 30, the Trade Union of An Phat Xanh Plastic Joint Stock Company (An Dong Industrial Cluster, Nam Sach commune, Hai Phong city) organized a conference to launch the "Socialist Grassroots Trade Union" model for the period 2026 - 2030.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Quyet - Standing Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong City Labor Federation - acknowledged the concern of the Board of Directors of the enterprise as well as the results that the Company's Trade Union has achieved in the past time.
According to Mr. Quyet, the company currently has 1,800 employees, of which 1,753 are trade union members. The average income of employees is about 10.5 million VND/person/month.
The Trade Union maintains periodic quarterly dialogues, organizes employee conferences, and signs collective labor agreements with many clauses that are more beneficial than regulations such as the 13th month salary, a salary higher than the regional minimum wage, allowances and regimes for female workers.
In addition, emulation movements and initiative promotion have brought billions of VND in profit to businesses. The Trade Union also focuses on discovering and fostering outstanding union members; in February 2026 alone, 2 union members were admitted to the Party.
The self-review results reached 86/100 points, showing that the company's Trade Union has many favorable conditions to implement the model, but still needs to continue to improve some criteria to meet the standard in a substantive way.
To make the model effective, Mr. Nguyen Van Quyet proposed that the Industrial Park Trade Union directly guide the Company's Trade Union to develop an action program, complete the criteria, and periodically inspect, evaluate and promptly remove difficulties in the implementation process.
Leaders of the Hai Phong City Labor Federation also requested the Board of Directors of the Company to continue to coordinate and create conditions in terms of time, resources and mechanisms for the Trade Union to perform its tasks well.
Building a model not only contributes to improving the quality of trade union activities but also helps stabilize labor relations, improve the quality of human resources, increase productivity and competitiveness of enterprises.
At the conference, delegates performed the launching ceremony of the "Socialist Grassroots Trade Union" model for the period 2026 - 2030.
