On July 27, the People's Public Security Trade Union (PPP) said that currently, thePPU has 11 grassroots unions assigned a number of tasks and powers of the trade union at the grassroots level and 95 grassroots unions with a total of 21,135 union members.

In agencies, units, and enterprises, civil servants and employees are an important force to ensure technical and logistical conditions, and equip support vehicles to ensure the safety of officers and soldiers in the People's Public Security. At the same time, this is an important force that directly researched and innovated science and technology, contributing to the digital transformation and modernization of the People's Public Security force, especially in projects on population data, issuing citizen identification cards, digitalizing data records, professional documents, designing infrastructure for public services... effectively serving the work of people's lives, bringing people's satisfaction; contributing to saving and benefiting the State and the People's Public Security force thousands of billions of VND.
The People's Public Security Trade Union also plays a core role in implementing, mobilizing and organizing mass movements to participate in protecting national security such as: "All people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas", "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas", "All people's festival to protect national security", "All people's fire prevention and fighting day" ...; coordinate in disseminating the law to students, students, workers and vulnerable groups.
Many models and initiatives of the People's Public Security Trade Union have left a deep impression, bringing practical social effects, such as: "Security lock", "Propaganda of mobile law", "Spring Warm Border - Trade Union Love Festival", "Union adopted children", "Union Shelter", "Union Love Fund", "Eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses"...
