A sports festival is about to be held to celebrate the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee and Central Trade Unions

The sports festival to celebrate the 1st National Party Congress of the Fatherland Front and Central Organizations for the 2025-2030 term is expected to be held at the end of September 2025.

The participants are cadres, party members, and workers in party organizations under the Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL). In addition, the Organizing Committee invited Party committees and Party cells directly under the Fatherland Front Party Committee and Central organizations to participate in contributing to spreading the spirit of welcoming the National Party Congress and Central organizations in the first term, 2025-2030.

The tournament will feature competitions in the following events: Pickleball, table tennis, and tug of war with 13 competition events for all ages. The prize structure includes 13 First prizes; 13 Second prizes; 26 Third prizes; 5 thematic prizes. The tournament is scheduled to take place at the end of September 2025 at Ba Dinh Sports Center, Hanoi City. Encourage units to participate in all 3 sports with 13 competition events.

The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor requests that Party committees and Party cells directly under the Party Committee of the General Confederation of Labor, based on the actual situation and conditions of each Party Committee and Party cell, develop a plan and organize physical and sports activities to celebrate the 1st National Party Congress of the Fatherland Front and Central Trade Unions for the 2025-2030 term. Along with that, select outstanding athletes and make a list of registered athletes to compete and send it to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (through the Labor Relations Department) before September 15, 2025.

The sports festival is organized to enhance solidarity and cohesion, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere to welcome the First Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee, Central organizations for the 2025 - 2030 term and the 14th National Congress of the Party; 80 years of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

The sports festival also contributes to creating a healthy and useful playground, encouraging cadres and party members to maintain health training, complete professional tasks well, and practically promote the Campaign "All people exercise, following the example of great Uncle Ho".
