On June 2, the Standing Committee of the Soc Trang Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) held a training conference to disseminate labor law, trade unions, gender-based knowledge and prevent sexual harassment at the workplace in 2025.
The conference was attended by nearly 100 delegates who are leaders of professional departments, Labor Federations of districts, towns and cities; Provincial People's Committee Trade Union; Party agency Trade Union; Industrial Park Trade Union and related units.

Here, Ms. Nguyen Thi Dien - Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union - deployed many important contents such as: Law on Gender Equality; Law on Prevention and Combat of Human Trafficking in 2024 and related legal documents; directive documents of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; knowledge about gender; how to identify and prevent sexual harassment at the workplace; measures to support workers.
Speaking at the conference, Ms. Trinh Thi Bao Khuyen - Vice President of the Soc Trang Provincial Federation of Labor - said that the training course aims to improve knowledge and skills for union officials, especially female cadres at all levels. Thereby, enhancing the effectiveness of representation, care for, and protection of legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers.
The conference also contributes to raising awareness of law compliance among workers, civil servants and laborers; affirming the role and position of women in society and building a civilized, equal and safe working environment.
