Notable is the movement "Good workers, creative workers" - a bright spot in emulation work. From here, many initiatives and technical improvements are applied to production, improving productivity, product quality and income of workers.
The "1 million initiatives" program of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and "2,000 initiatives - Flexible, creative" launched by the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation have attracted 19,674 initiatives, including 2,521 grassroots initiatives and 75 provincial initiatives recognized.
The whole province has 11 individuals awarded the Creative Labor Certificate by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, 2 workers received the Nguyen Duc Canh Award.
In addition, the movements "Green - Clean - Beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene", "Union joins hands to build new rural areas", "racing to serve the cause of industrialization and modernization of agriculture and rural areas" are maintained and innovated in methods of production, bringing practical results.
The cultural and sports movement among workers, civil servants and laborers also spread strongly with activities such as the Workers' and Civil Servants' Sports Tournament, the "Workers' Singing Festival", the " creativity of video exercises in the middle of the hour" contest, attracting tens of thousands of participants.
From emulation movements, the whole province has had 2,632 collectives and individuals commended, of which 3 collectives and individuals received the Emulation Flag and Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister; 668 collectives and individuals were commended by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
In the coming time, Lao Cai trade unions at all levels will continue to innovate the content and methods of organizing the patriotic emulation movement; encourage union members and workers to be creative and proactive in adapting in the new period - contributing to building a strong trade union organization.
