On the evening of February 13, at a boarding house in Phu Hoa 5 neighborhood, Phu Loi ward, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation coordinated with the Phu Loi Ward Trade Union to organize the program "Spring Meal of Solidarity - Tet of Affection".
Attending the program were Ms. Nguyen Kim Loan - Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, leaders of Phu Loi ward, Phu Loi ward Trade Union, landlords and about 40 workers working far from home.
Phu Loi Ward Trade Union said that this Tet holiday, there are about 2,500 workers in the ward who do not have the conditions to return to their hometown but stay in the locality to celebrate Tet. The Ward Trade Union has coordinated with the locality and the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation to organize many activities to care for the material and spiritual life of workers.

The program "Spring Meal of Solidarity - Tet of Affection" is one of the activities wishing to bring a warm Spring atmosphere to union members and workers who do not have the conditions to return to their hometowns to celebrate Tet.
At the program, the organizers presented 40 Tet gifts to workers far from home, each gift including 200,000 VND in cash and food worth more than 500,000 VND. The Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union also presented lucky money to 20 children of workers.
