Ho Chi Minh City - In the afternoon of February 13 (ie, the 26th of Tet), many people brought luggage to spontaneous parking lots and gas stations along National Highway 1 to wait for "illegal buses" to return to their hometowns for Tet.
In the Thanh Cong parking lot area at the foot of Binh Phuoc overpass (National Highway 13 - National Highway 1 intersection, Hiep Binh ward), dozens of passenger cars continuously enter and exit to pick up and drop off passengers and receive goods.
Hundreds of passengers crowded, sitting haphazardly along the road, anxiously waiting for their turn to get on the bus in a chaotic and overloaded scene.

On National Highway 1, the section near Linh Xuan intersection, hundreds of passengers stood and sat scattered along the road waiting for buses to return home for Tet.
Although this is one of the locations that Ho Chi Minh City allows fixed-route cars to stop to pick up and drop off passengers, for many years it has been transformed into a "illegal bus station", operating chaotically and disorderly.
