A new highlight in this year's Tet season is the Trade Union New Year's Eve Meal held at many businesses. The common meal space - where business leaders, trade unions and employees sit together - has contributed to blurring the gap, increasing understanding and sharing. Tet, therefore, is not only a time for rest but also an opportunity to warm up harmonious and sustainable labor relations.
In parallel, activities to visit workers in rented rooms, self-managed worker groups, workers who do not return to their hometowns for Tet; taking care of grassroots trade union officials; accompanying in social security work... have created a comprehensive care network.
In particular, the participation and concern of Party and State leaders, the National Assembly and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in visiting and giving gifts further affirms the position and role of workers in development policies.
