For the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has directed trade unions to synchronously and effectively implement the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws in the entire trade union system.
Regarding the implementation of Resolution No. 60-NQ/TW dated April 12, 2025 of the Central Executive Committee on continuing to innovate the organization and operation of Vietnam Trade Union, the Party Committee of the General Confederation of Labor has issued many drastic and profound instructions, spreading them to each grassroots trade union.
Over the past 5 years, under the leadership of the Party, the close attention and orientation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and all levels of the Trade Union in the People's Public Security (CAND), grassroots trade unions like us have always received encouragement and practical care for both the material and spiritual life of union members and workers.
First of all, we clearly feel the regular concern for protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers. Policy regimes related to wages, allowances, social insurance, health insurance, labor safety... are all implemented by trade unions at all levels in the People's Public Security and directly by the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union in close coordination with specialized agencies and unit authorities (employers) to fully and promptly implement. This helps employees feel secure in their work and stay with the unit for a long time.
Along with that, emulation movements launched by the union have created an environment for training and striving for excitement in each cadre, union member, and employee such as: "Good worker, creative worker", "Green - clean - beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene", or the activities "Workers' Month", "Tet Sum Vay" "Union Meal", "Union adoption Program", "Activities to thank workers" ... have truly entered life, arousing the sense of responsibility, creativity and pride of workers in the People's Public Security force and in the public security enterprise.
We also especially appreciate the care for spiritual life, visiting and encouraging union members when they are sick or in difficulty; promptly supporting union members' families affected by natural disasters and floods; organizing cultural, artistic, sports, exchanges, vacations to promote health, strengthen solidarity and cohesion in the collective. It is that concern that makes each worker feel an important part of the trade union organization.
In particular, in the context of the COVID-19 epidemic, support from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and trade unions at all levels in the People's Public Security, especially salary support and insurance support for employees during long periods of quarantine due to the pandemic, by the company's leaders for union members and employees, has left an even deeper impression. Emergency support packages and timely sharing of material and spiritual needs have helped workers overcome difficult times, maintain production and stabilize their lives.
Looking back over the past 5 years, we deeply feel that the trade union is truly a reliable support for workers, a bridge connecting workers with the Party, the State, the public security sector and social security. The practical and specific actions of the union have strengthened the trust and motivated each union member to enthusiastically compete and complete their tasks well, contributing to building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite and modern People's Public Security force.
In the coming time, we believe and hope to continue to receive the attention and guidance of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and all levels of Trade Unions in the People's Public Security. The grassroots union members promise to continuously strive, unite, be creative, overcome difficulties and rise up, contributing to the successful implementation of the political tasks of the unit and the industry.
Before the 2025-2030 term of the Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, I believe that the Party Committee will continue to direct trade unions at all levels to play a good role in representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers.
