In the afternoon of February 14, Mr. Phan Thanh Liem - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation visited, encouraged and presented "Late Tet" gifts to 20 workers of Nha Trang Urban Environment Joint Stock Company working in the Dam Market area.

Ms. Mai Thi Kim Ut has been attached to environmental sanitation team 1 for nearly half a year. Ms. Ut's work in these days leading up to Tet starts from 2 pm to 2 am the next morning. Receiving an early Tet gift from the union, Ms. Ut is excited because her hard work is being cared for and encouraged.
The Trade Union gave me and my brothers and sisters a gift of 1 million VND, which is very precious. The money not only contributes to Tet but also motivates us to work better" - Ms. Ut said.

Nha Trang Urban Environment Joint Stock Company is one of the units with union members and employees who have to work through the New Year's Eve to ensure the city enters the new year cleanly and beautifully, without accumulating waste.
Sharing with workers working at Dam market - the largest wholesale market in the province, Mr. Phan Thanh Liem said that not everyone has the conditions to rest and reunite fully in the early spring days.
Many officials, civil servants, public employees and workers are still silently on duty during Tet so that production and service activities are not interrupted.
Notably, in the past time, the team of employees of Nha Trang Urban Environment Joint Stock Company has worked hard to treat the huge amount of waste after the large flood.
According to Ms. Tran Thi Kim Chi - Chairwoman of the company's Trade Union, during the peak of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year, there are about 700 union members and workers working throughout New Year's Eve.
In the past 3 months, workers have had to work overtime and increase shifts continuously to collect and treat garbage after the flood.
The entire company has more than 405 union members who were heavily damaged by floods but still put aside personal matters, participated in overcoming the Nha Trang area and supported neighboring areas. More than 480,000 tons of garbage were collected in a short time, contributing to stabilizing the urban environment after the natural disaster.
The late Tet gift for 20 union members in difficult circumstances, heavily damaged by floods, is a great source of encouragement both materially and spiritually. This is also a motivation for the brothers to continue to complete their tasks, keeping the city clean and beautiful in the first days of the year," Ms. Chi shared.

According to the leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation, late Tet is not only giving gifts first but also an opportunity for the Trade Union organization to listen to the thoughts and aspirations of workers. From there, promptly grasp the employment and income situation to have appropriate support solutions.
The program is implemented with two key contents: visiting and giving gifts to units on duty during Tet and caring for union members and workers in difficult circumstances who still have to work during the Lunar New Year holiday.
This is also a practical activity of the Khanh Hoa Trade Union to continue to affirm the representative role, protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of the Trade Union organization, contributing to building harmonious and stable labor relations.
