At the program, Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour Thai Thu Xuong presented Tet gifts and Tet train tickets to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
Dong Nai province currently has about 680,000 workers working in industrial parks, of which 42% are migrant workers.

On the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, trade union levels in the province have organized many practical activities to care for union members and workers such as: Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party, meetings with workers' families, organizing visits and gifts for workers, organizing Trade Union Year-end meals, the program "Tet Union Member Bus Trip - Spring 2026", supporting train and plane tickets for union members and workers to return to their hometowns to reunite with their families, online Trade Union Tet market...
Through the programs, over 80,000 gifts and 3,000 bus tickets were awarded to union members and workers.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Dung, Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation, said that to date, the total budget for Tet care programs for union members and workers is nearly 100 billion VND. Of which, support from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor is 8.6 billion VND, provincial budget is 15 billion VND and provincial Labor Federation is 76 billion VND.

Mr. Duong Minh Dung, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, also said that besides the achieved results, a part of union members and workers still face many difficulties in housing conditions, working environment, living and cultural and spiritual life are still limited. Some businesses face difficulties in orders, production, and business, leading to impacts on jobs and income of workers.
Therefore, the organization of activities to care for union members and workers is always concerned with the leadership and regular direction of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, especially during holidays, Tet, and traditional days of the nation.

Also at the Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party program organized by the Provincial Labor Federation on the evening of February 8, union members and workers participated in a lucky draw program with many valuable prizes, along with special art performances by famous singers and artists.
