On September 24, the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) held a conference to announce the decision to establish the Provincial Social Insurance (BHXH) Grassroots Trade Union. At the conference, the Provincial Labor Federation recognized 458 union members and appointed an Executive Committee of 9 comrades.
Speaking to receive the assignment, Mr. Thai Van Tan - Deputy Director of Provincial Social Insurance, Chairman of the Grassroots Trade Union committed that the Executive Committee will always maintain solidarity, proactively promote the role of representing and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members.
At the same time, the Provincial Social Insurance Grassroots Trade Union will actively innovate the content and methods of operation, emulate to excellently complete political tasks, contributing to building an increasingly strong trade union organization, meeting the requirements in the new period.
Speaking to direct, Ms. Le Thi Kim Chi - Standing Vice President of the Provincial Labor Federation proposed that the Executive Committee should develop operating regulations, assign specific tasks to each member; promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of civil servants and employees; focus on caring for the material and spiritual life of workers; promote patriotic emulation movements..., contributing to building the provincial Social Insurance agency to develop more and more.
Ms. Le Thi Kim Chi also reminded the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union to carefully prepare the conditions for organizing the first grassroots trade union congress within a period of no more than 12 months in accordance with the regulations of the Vietnam Trade Union Charter.
