GPN Automotive Company Limited is a 100% Chinese-invested enterprise, located in the duty-free zone and Nam Dinh Vu Industrial Park.
The company officially came into operation in June 2025 with 150 employees (72 female employees), specializing in the production of reduce-shakes for export to the US market.
With the guidance of the Industrial Park Trade Union Committee of the City Labor Federation, on July 10, 2025, the Mobilization Committee for the establishment of the company's trade union was established. From July 10 to 15, the Mobilization Committee organized a propaganda campaign to help workers clearly understand the rights and duties of union members as well as the role of the Trade Union organization. Thereby, 100% of workers (78 people) at that time had applied to join the Trade Union organization.
At the conference, leaders of the City Labor Federation presented the decision to establish a grassroots trade union and admitted 78 union members. The Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union was introduced with 3 members, Ms. Nguyen Thi Loc holds the position of Chairwoman of the Trade Union.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Quyet - Vice Chairman of the City Labor Federation - congratulated the newly established grassroots union.
The Vice President of the City Labor Federation requested the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union to urgently develop a work program, internal rules and regulations; collect the opinions of workers to develop the content of the collective labor agreement, and move towards successful negotiation and signing.
The grassroots trade union plays a good role in representing and protecting the rights and interests of union members, promptly grasping the thoughts and aspirations to coordinate with employers to resolve them. After the ceremony, representatives of the City Labor Federation discussed and listened to businesses share about the employment situation, orders in the last months of 2025 as well as development orientations in the following years. Delegates also visited the factory and encouraged workers at the workplace.
