On the afternoon of April 6, the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with the Yen Dung Ward Trade Union to organize a conference to announce the decision to establish the grassroots Trade Union of Li Ding Xiang Equipment and Machinery Co., Ltd. (Vietnam) under the management and direct direction of Yen Dung Ward.
Attending the conference were Mr. Le Duc Tho - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation; representatives of the Trade Union Affairs Committee; Mr. Phan The Huan - Standing Deputy Secretary of Yen Dung Ward; leaders of Yen Dung Ward Trade Union; Mr. Lao Chen Ting - Deputy General Director of Li Ding Xiang Machinery and Equipment Co., Ltd. (Vietnam).
Li Ding Xiang Machinery and Equipment Co., Ltd. (Vietnam) was established in 2023 with nearly 30 workers.
Since its establishment, Li Ding Xiang Machinery and Equipment Co., Ltd. (Vietnam) has always received the attention and guidance of the trade union organization. Yen Dung Ward Trade Union has proactively coordinated with businesses to propagate and mobilize workers to join the trade union organization. To date, 27 workers have voluntarily participated, meeting the conditions to establish grassroots trade unions. This is the result of the efforts and responsibility of the Standing Committee of Yen Dung Ward Trade Union, the concern and support of the Company's Board of Directors and the voluntary and solidarity spirit of the collective of workers.
At the conference, the Provincial Labor Federation announced and awarded the Decision to establish the company's grassroots trade union; launched the Provisional Trade Union Executive Committee.
Speaking here, Mr. Le Duc Tho - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation - praised and acknowledged the efforts and positive contributions of Yen Dung Ward Trade Union in the past time in the work of developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions (from the beginning of April to now, 2 grassroots trade unions have been established); and thanked the attention of the Party Committee and local authorities and the consensus and facilitation of business leaders.
To ensure that grassroots trade unions operate effectively in the coming time, Mr. Le Duc Tho proposed that the Trade Union Executive Committee quickly stabilize the organization, build operating regulations, assign specific tasks; proactively grasp the thoughts and aspirations of workers, and promptly protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members.
Along with that, it is necessary to promote emulation movements for good labor and creative labor; pay attention to occupational safety and health; actively propagate and mobilize workers to well comply with the Party's guidelines, the State's policies and laws and business regulations; actively study to improve professional qualifications, nghiệp vụ and skills.
On this occasion, the Provincial Labor Federation presented 10 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
