On April 29, in Tam Ngai commune, the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation organized a conference to announce the decision to establish the grassroots Trade Union of Hung Thinh Fashion Co., Ltd. Branch, in order to protect the legitimate rights and interests of workers.
At the conference, the Provincial Labor Federation announced the decision to admit 119 workers to the Vietnam Trade Union organization, and at the same time appointed the Provisional Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union consisting of 5 members to manage initial activities.
Ms. Tran Le Thu - Company Manager - was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union. Speaking to receive the assignment, Ms. Thu thanked the trust of leaders and employees, affirming that she will join the collective to unite, protect the rights of union members, act as a bridge with businesses, care for life and promote production emulation.
Speaking at the conference, Ms. Vo Thi Thu Oanh - Vice President of Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation - emphasized that the establishment of Hung Thinh Fashion Grassroots Trade Union takes place in a vibrant emulation atmosphere towards major holidays, a vibrant emulation to celebrate the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress.
Ms. Oanh said that after the merger, the provincial trade union organization manages a large area, with a large workforce, requiring continued innovation in content and methods of operation, strongly oriented towards grassroots levels, timely representation, protection of rights and building harmonious labor relations.
The birth of the grassroots Trade Union of the Branch - Hung Thinh Fashion Co., Ltd. today is one of the commendable results of the coordination, companionship and concern and creation of conditions by the Board of Directors of the company's branch, along with the will and aspiration to join the Trade Union organization of the company's employees.
With the role of directly managing grassroots trade unions, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation will always accompany, support, and guide activities, so that trade unions are truly a reliable support for workers and responsible partners of businesses," Ms. Oanh emphasized.
