On July 29, the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation organized a Conference to announce the decision to admit union members, establish the grassroots Trade Union of Amphenol Advanced Connector Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Yen Phong Industrial Park expansion, Tam Da commune) and the "Trade Union Meal" Program.

At the conference, the Trade Union Committee of industrial parks announced the decision to admit 1,629 union members and establish the grassroots Trade Union of Amphenol Advanced Connector Vietnam Co., Ltd.
The establishment of the Trade Union organization marks an important step in the work of building Trade Union organizations at foreign-invested enterprises, creating conditions for workers to be gathered in legal representative organizations, to be cared for and protected for their legitimate and lawful rights and interests; and at the same time contribute to building harmonious, stable, progressive labor relations, promoting sustainable business development.
Speaking at the program, Ms. Lam Thi Huong Thanh acknowledged and highly appreciated the concern and coordination of the Board of Directors of Amphenol Advanced Connector Vietnam Co., Ltd. in creating conditions for establishing grassroots trade unions.
She requested the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union immediately after being established to quickly stabilize the organization, promote the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers; proactively grasp the thoughts and aspirations, coordinate with businesses to organize many practical activities, care for material and spiritual life, create motivation for workers to feel secure in their commitment, improve labor productivity and jointly build businesses to develop more and more.
On this occasion, the Provincial Labor Federation presented 100 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances working at the company, contributing to encouraging workers to overcome difficulties and continue to strive for labor and production.
Immediately after the conference, the provincial delegation, along with business leaders and a large number of workers, attended the "Trade Union Meal" Program in a cozy and friendly atmosphere. This is an annual activity implemented by the Trade Union organization to show gratitude for the contributions of union members and workers, and at the same time strengthen the connection between the Trade Union organization, businesses and workers.
The highlight of the program is a meal worth 65,000 VND/person, an increase of 30,000 VND compared to daily meals thanks to the support of the Trade Union organization. The enterprise prepared 4 rich menus for workers to choose from.
