According to information from the Electronic Information Portal of the Ministry of Science and Technology, on July 29, the Ministry of Science and Technology transferred and appointed Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Mai - Head of Finance - Accounting Department (Office of the Ministry of Science and Technology), to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Planning - Finance Department.
The Ministry also decided to extend the term of office until retirement age for Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Ha and Ms. Le Yen Dung, both Deputy Directors of the Department of Social Sciences and Nature. At the same time, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Khanh and Mr. Nguyen Duc Thong were reappointed as Deputy Directors of the Vietnam Public Telecommunications Service Fund.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister Bui Hoang Phuong congratulated the officials assigned important responsibilities, and emphasized that being newly appointed or reappointed all come with greater responsibility in the context of increasingly high requirements for leadership and management work.
Regarding Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Ha and Ms. Le Yen Dung, the Deputy Minister requested to continue to promote experience, successfully complete assigned tasks, and at the same time pay attention to training a team of successor officials. With the Vietnam Public Telecommunications Service Fund, the Ministry's leaders requested to focus on effectively implementing the new phase of the Public Telecommunications Service Program, contributing to the development of digital infrastructure and national digital transformation.
Regarding Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Mai, the Deputy Minister assessed that this official has many years of experience in the field of finance and accounting and proposed to quickly start working, promote expertise, and closely coordinate with units to successfully complete assigned tasks.
Concluding the ceremony, Deputy Minister Bui Hoang Phuong expressed his belief that the cadres who were transferred, appointed, reappointed and extended their tenure will continue to promote their capacity, sense of responsibility, and unite with the collective to successfully complete the tasks assigned by the Party, State and Ministry of Science and Technology.
