On July 29, according to initial information from Vietnam Expressway Technical Services Joint Stock Company (VEC E), at about 2:30 PM on July 29, at Km25+800 of the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway in Long Thanh ward, Dong Nai City (direction Dau Giay to Ho Chi Minh City), a truck with license plate 50E-904xx driven by driver N.H. T (34 years old, permanently residing in An Giang province) caught fire.
The initial cause was a burning tire of the 2nd left axle and then a burning up. The consequence was that the goods on the car (plastic bottles) were burned, causing no casualties.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire and Rescue Police Department (PC07) of Dong Nai City Police mobilized fire trucks and officers and soldiers to the scene and quickly extinguished the fire. Relevant units were also present at the scene to regulate traffic and handle the scene.
