On June 13, Tuy Phuoc Commune Trade Union (Gia Lai) said that the Steering Committee for establishing the grassroots Trade Union of Binh Dinh Cotton Production Co., Ltd. organized the Congress to establish the grassroots Trade Union, term 2026-2030.
Binh Dinh Cotton Production Co., Ltd. is headquartered in An Hoa 1 village, Tuy Phuoc Tay commune. Over the past time, under the guidance of the Provincial Labor Federation and Tuy Phuoc Commune Trade Union, the Mobilization Committee has actively propagated and disseminated the Trade Union Law and the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union to employees in the enterprise.
Thanks to that, 100% of employees at the company have clearly understood their rights and responsibilities and voluntarily wrote applications to join the Vietnam Trade Union organization.
At the congress, delegates listened to reports on the process of mobilizing workers to participate in the Trade Union organization, announcing the decision to admit union members and the decision to establish the company's grassroots Trade Union.
The Congress also elected the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union for the 2026-2030 term, consisting of 3 people. Mr. Bui Xuan Huong was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union.
Mr. Doan Thanh Binh - Chairman of Tuy Phuoc Commune Trade Union - emphasized that the establishment of a Trade Union organization at enterprises is of great significance in protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.
Mr. Binh requested the Executive Committee of the company's grassroots Trade Union to soon stabilize the organization, closely coordinate with business leaders to develop coordination regulations, sign collective labor agreements and promote labor production emulation movements, contributing to sustainable business development.
On this occasion, Binh Dinh Cotton Production Co., Ltd. presented 20 gifts to trade union members, each worth 500,000 VND, to congratulate the congress's success and encourage the spirit of workers.
