The Trade Union of Horn Vietnam Co., Ltd. currently has 1,225 union members out of a total of 1,500 employees. In the 2020-2025 term, the trade union has coordinated to organize 5 periodic dialogues, 5 employee conferences; received and resolved about 80% of the total 30 recommendations of employees related to salaries, allowances, working conditions and female labor regimes.
The Trade Union also participates in negotiating and signing collective labor agreements with many clauses that are more beneficial to workers such as Tet bonuses of at least one month's salary, a basic salary level 5% higher than the minimum salary, travel allowances, attendance bonuses, support for pregnant female workers and many other welfare regimes.
The average income of employees at enterprises currently reaches about 12 million VND/person/month, an increase of 18% compared to the beginning of the term. Occupational safety and hygiene work is maintained effectively, and there have been no serious labor accidents at the enterprise in the past term.
In addition, the trade union regularly coordinates to take care of the material and spiritual life of union members. Every year, about 1,300 Tet gifts are given to workers with a total budget of more than 325 million VND; hundreds of difficult cases are supported with bus tickets, allowances and gifts during Workers' Month, holidays, and Tet.
Through review according to the criteria set of the Hai Phong City Labor Federation, the Trade Union of Horn Vietnam Co., Ltd. achieved 93/100 points, meeting the conditions to implement the "Socialist Grassroots Trade Union" model.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Ms. Ha Thi Hong Nhung - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Horn Vietnam Co., Ltd. said that the grassroots trade union is developing a roadmap for implementing the socialist trade union model. Accordingly, in 2026, the Company's Trade Union will organize propaganda on labor policies and laws for 250 workers immediately after the model launching ceremony; thoroughly grasp the criteria to the Executive Committee, trade union groups, union members; clearly identify the criteria that have been achieved, the criteria that have not been achieved, the person in charge, the completion deadline and the supporting documents.
In 2027, the Trade Union will focus on raising the criteria that are still low, especially dialogue, collective labor agreements, improving cultural and spiritual life, soft skills, and legal propaganda for union members and workers. In the period 2028 - 2030, the Trade Union will maintain, standardize and improve the quality of the model; include the criteria in the annual work program; ensure that the model becomes a regular operating routine of the Company's Trade Union.
At the conference, representatives of the Board of Directors of Horn Vietnam Co., Ltd. and the Executive Committee of the Trade Union signed a commitment to implement the model. On this occasion, the City Labor Federation presented 5 gifts worth 1 million VND/gift; the City Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board presented 20 gifts worth 500,000 VND/gift to workers in difficult circumstances, encouraging workers to feel secure in sticking with the business.
