Talking to reporters, Mr. Vu Quang Thanh - Deputy Director of the Hanoi Employment Service Center said that the capital's labor market from now until the end of the year is showing very positive developments. The main driving force comes from the general recovery of the economy and successful trade and cultural promotion activities.
"Recently, Hanoi has successfully organized the A80 event to celebrate the August Revolution and National Day on September 2. This event has created many positive effects, promoting socio-economic development activities, including the labor market," Mr. Vu Quang Thanh shared.
In addition, other important economic indicators also recorded growth, such as the disbursement rate of public investment capital and attraction of FDI capital. These are factors that create a solid momentum for the development of businesses, thereby promoting the demand for human resources.
Forecasting the groups of industries with high recruitment demand, Mr. Vu Quang Thanh commented that this is the time for businesses to focus on completing production plans and year-end orders.
In which, the industry group leading the recruitment trend is still Trade - Services. Related fields such as wholesale - retail, e-commerce, logistics also have a huge demand for human resources to serve the peak shopping season.
Second place is the Construction sector, when public investment projects and civil works are being promoted across the city. Next are the processing, manufacturing, healthcare and finance industries.
In particular, the tourism, accommodation, food and beverage and travel industries are showing a strong recovery, attracting a large recruitment demand to meet the increased number of visitors at the end of the year and holidays and Tet.
To meet market demand, Hanoi Employment Service Center has been actively implementing many activities to connect labor supply and demand. In September alone, the center organized about 20 job fairs, successfully connecting more than 1,000 workers.
"The results of the trading sessions did not stop at the day of the event. We continuously share and connect data with other provinces and support businesses and workers to connect afterwards, creating a permeable and sustainable effect," Mr. Vu Quang Thanh emphasized.
